Our Mission & Vision

Our purpose is to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to equip them to server Him.

We are committed to leading people like you to a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ. God has created you to know Him and to have fellowship with Him. Our sin separates us from God, but that separation can be removed by faith in Jesus Christ.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, Should not perish but have life eternal
(John 3:16).

To believing in Christ and to trusting Him as your Lord and Savior is eternal life (John 17:3). We believe that God has established his church not only to share the good news of Jesus with those who have not yet trusted him, but also to equip believers for effective service in their homes and communities. The Bible says that God gives gifts to His church.

And He gave . . . some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints (believers) for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man . . . (Ephesians 4:11-13).

The pastors and elders of Grace understand their responsibility in the church to be the pillar and supporter of the truth (1 Timothy 3:15), and they understand their responsibility to assure that the church is nourished on the word of faith and of sound doctrine (4:6).  Because the Scriptures mandate we give much attention to study, . . . exhortation and teaching (4:13).

Our Core values align with our name.

Growth of the church through evangelism
* People matter to Jesus and they matter to us. Acts 1:8
Relationships (fellowship)
* Christianity has never been meant to be lived out in isolation, but in community. Hebrews 10:24-25
* Our acceptance before God is not based upon our performance, but upon God’s Son, Jesus Christ. Everyone is welcomed at Grace Community Church. Romans 5:6-11
Celebration (worship)
* Worship is a time to honor God who forgives, saves and empowers us for eternal life. Worship should be reflective, celebrative, and culturally-relevant. Psalm 95:1-3
Exhortation of believers
(1) Apply the scriptures to everyday life, James 1:22
(2) Exercise giftedness in ministry, 1 Peter 4:10
