Candy Bogardus is our Director of Children’s Ministries at Grace Community Church.
Candy coordinates children’s ministry which includes Awana, Kid Connection, Sunday School, Children’s Events, Vacation Bible School, Children’s Camps, Hallelujah Home Fest, and other planned activities for our children.
Candy and her husband, John, live in South Guyton. They have twin boys, Charlie and Mason 9, and 5 year-old daughter, Lainey. Candy and John lead the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society, a family support group for people touched by Down Syndrome, in honor of their daughter. Candy is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia Nursing Program. She has been serving in children’s ministry for over 17 years.

Kid Connection Age 4 thru 1st Grade
During the Sunday morning worship service Grace provides a class for the children, where they can learn about Jesus in a more relaxed setting with age appropriate materials and activities. The children are dismissed during the sermon time and returned to the Worship Center at the end of service.
